Background introduction

In the network port production enterprise, different network ports need to install different colors of LED lights or different brightness of LED. Due to the intense and high-intensity work of the staff, there is often the phenomenon of leakage, misinstallation, and mixed installation of LED lights. Therefore, in the production process of the product, it is necessary to manually check the color and brightness of the LED of different models of network ports. However, manual inspection can only detect one product at a time, which is slow in efficiency, and personnel have visual fatigue, resulting in missing NG products.

 

System introduction

In terms of software, Cognex color industrial camera and VisionPro vision software can accurately and stably judge the color and brightness of products.

In terms of mechanism design, the device uses the XYZ servo module structure to move the vision system, efficiently and quickly complete the image photography, and convenient and quick manual loading and unloading. The design has high requirements for structural accuracy, and it is necessary to have accurate mobile repeated positioning accuracy, because the PIN pins with high precision are aligned one by one, otherwise the LED lights will not be lit.

In terms of overall performance, the detection device can detect more than 30 types of network port products, network port types are mainly single network port, double network port, four network port. For single-port products, three can be shot each time, 15 products can be placed on a mold, divided into five photos to complete; For dual-network products, you can take one shot each time, 9 products can be placed on a mold, divided into nine photos to complete; For four-port products, you can take one shot each time, and 6 products can be placed on a mold, which is divided into six photos to complete. The software display interface of the device is humanized, which is convenient for manual viewing of the image effect of NG products.
