Machine vision inspection equipment typically consists of a light source, lens, industrial camera, image acquisition card, image processing software, and system integration. The operational process is as follows:


1. The part locator detector detects that the object has moved to the center of the camera system's line of sight and sends a triggering pulse to initiate image capture.


2. The image capture section, based on pre-set programs and delays, sends initiation pulses to the camera and lighting system.


3. The camera interrupts the current scan and starts a new frame scan, or the camera waits in anticipation before initiating a pulse, and upon pulse arrival, starts a new frame scan.


4. Before starting a new frame scan, the camera opens the exposure mechanism, and the exposure time can be preset.


5. Another initiation pulse turns on the illumination, and the timing of the illumination opening should match the camera's exposure time.


6. After the camera exposure, the formal scanning and output of each frame image begin.


7. The image capture section receives the analog video signal, digitizes it, or directly receives the camera's digitized digital video data.


8. The image capture section stores the digital image in the memory of the processor or computer.


9. The processor processes, analyzes, and recognizes the image, obtaining measurement results or logical control values.


10. The processing results control the actions of the production line, perform positioning, and correct motion errors.
