Understand the four components of machine vision inspection equipment

1. Automatic feeding part

The feeding generally adopts the method of vibrating feeding, that is, the vibrating plate. The vibrating plate can arrange various products in an orderly manner and convey them to the inspection track.

There is a pulse solenoid valve under the vibrating plate hopper, which can make the hopper vibrate in the vertical direction, and the inclined spring plate drives the hopper to do torsion vibration around its vertical axis. The parts to be inspected in the hopper rise along the spiral track due to this vibration. In the process of ascension, after a series of track screening or attitude changes, the parts can automatically enter the detection position in a uniform state according to the requirements of the detection. The purpose of its work is to automatically and orderly arrange the disordered workpieces to the next process through vibration.

The vibrating plate can also be composed of a hoist and a silo, which is convenient for adding supplementary materials. The installation position of the vibrating plate is high, and it is inconvenient for workers to dump materials at high places. And the hoist solves this problem. The hopper scoops the material from the storage below, and as the conveyor belt or chain is lifted to the top, it is flipped down after bypassing the top wheel, and the hoist dumps the material into the vibrating plate. Complete all the actions of automatic feeding.

2. Automatic conveying part

The conveying part uses an optical glass turntable, and the product reaches the turntable from the vibrating loading to the turntable and accurately reaches the detection position.

Why should you use optical glass instead of ordinary glass? Optical glass is divided into thousands of kinds, and the quartz glass in the optical glass is used in the general visual inspection equipment, because it has high spectral transmission, that is, high light transmittance.

3. Automatic detection part

This section is the core of the entire visual inspection section. It is mainly composed of industrial cameras, lenses, light sources, and visual inspection system software. The key is the visual inspection system software ----- image algorithm engineering. The ability to process the image, the ability to calculate, the ability to judge, the ability to control the moving part, and the ability to coordinate the action of the whole machine are all calculated in the visual inspection system. Is it possible to judge the image 100% accurately? Could it be a miscalculation? Not all software systems are stable and mature. This requires a team and an enterprise to accumulate several years, or more than ten years of experience.

4. The automatic blanking part

The automatic blanking part refers to the rejection of defective products and the retention of good products, and the classification and packaging. Some manufacturers will also require automatic packaging. After packaging, the production date and QR code identification will be checked.
