With the continuous improvement of various technologies, the downstream application fields of telecentric lenses have also been expanded, from the first mainly used for electronic assembly inspection, has developed to more and more extensive industrial applications such as identification, quality inspection, dimensional measurement and manipulator positioning. When we choose a bi-telecentric lens, it is usually used for the following inspections:

什么情况下会用到双远心镜头?它的应用场景有哪些?(图1)

1. When the thickness of the object to be detected is large and more than one plane needs to be detected, typical applications such as food boxes, beverage bottles, etc.;

2. When the position of the measured object is uncertain and may be at a certain angle with the lens;

3. When the measured object jumps up and down during the detection process, such as the working distance changes due to the vibration up and down of the production line;

4. When the object to be measured has an aperture or a three-dimensional object;

5. When low distortion rate is required, and the brightness of the image effect is almost identical;

6. When the defect to be detected can only be detected under parallel illumination in the same direction;

7. When it is necessary to exceed the detection accuracy, such as when the allowable error is 1um.

Application scenarios of telecentric lenses:

1. Measurement of mechanical parts

A common application of telecentric lenses* is to measure the size of precision mechanical parts. Telecentric lenses are mainly used to measure precision mechanical parts such as springs, screws, nuts, and washers.

2. Plastic parts measurement

Another major application of telecentric lenses is the measurement of rubber seals, O-rings, and plastic caps, among others. Objects are characterized by the fact that they are easy to deform when moving and measuring, which is difficult to measure with traditional methods, and the detection method of these parts requires non-contact optical measurement technology.

3. Electronic component measurement

Many other components, such as resistors, transistors, and integrated circuits, require small telecentric lenses to check their integrity, size, size, position, and pin curvature, and electronic drawing boards need to check the spacing of individual components. Other electronic products such as transistors and IC circuits require telecentric lenses to detect their size and the location of connection points, while circuit boards are often used to control the distance between electronic components.

4. Measurement of glass products and pharmaceutical parts

Many pharmaceutical glassware, such as vials, capsules, and tubular bottles, are typically measured with a telecentric lens to ensure a complete seal and prevent damage to the container. Similar applications can be found in the beverage industry, such as measuring threads on glass bottlenecks. Other pharmaceutical passive devices, such as syringes, also require telecentric inspection system technology.

5. Other special purposes

There are other applications for telecentric lenses, such as:

1. Particle measurement;

2. High-precision color measurement in the printing industry;

3. Photolithography overlay measurement;

4. Filter control;

5. Blood analysis and cytometry.
