         In daily life, in most applications where industrial cameras are equipped with electric zoom lenses, it is often necessary to adjust the back focus of the industrial camera. Below, the editor of Xinxiwang will introduce to you the steps to adjust the back focus of industrial cameras:

1. Correctly install the lens on the industrial camera; 

2. Open the lens aperture as wide as possible (the purpose is to reduce the depth of field and accurately find the imaging focus);

3. Push the lens to telephoto (Tele) state through zoom adjustment (ZoomIn), take a close-up of an object 10m away, and then adjust the focus (Focus) to make the close-up image clearer;

4. Perform the zoom adjustment (ZoomOut) opposite to the previous step to pull the lens back to the wide-angle (Wide) state. At this time, the screen becomes a panoramic image containing the above close-up objects, but no focus adjustment can be made at this time (Note: If At this time, the image becomes blurred and the focus cannot be adjusted), but prepare for the next step of back focus adjustment;

5. Loosen the hexagon socket screw on the front end of the industrial camera for fixing the back focus adjustment ring, and rotate the back focus adjustment ring (for cameras without a back focus adjustment ring, directly rotate the lens to drive its built-in back focus ring) until Until the picture is clearest, then temporarily tighten the hexagon socket screws;

6. Push the lens back to the telephoto state to see if the close-up object you just shot is still clear. If it is not clear, repeat steps 1, 2, and 3 above; usually it only takes one or two rounds to complete the back focus adjustment. Finally, tighten the hexagon socket screw and adjust the aperture to the appropriate position.
