Good news: Cognex launches new generation vision system In-Sight 7000 series

 As a leading company in the global machine vision field, Cognex announced the launch of the new In-Sight® 7000 series , a set of very rugged and highly modular stand-alone vision systems. The new generation of In-Sight 7000 series achieves major breakthroughs in performance, flexibility and ease of integration. This high-performance new vision system can keep up with today's increasing production line speeds, performing inspections quickly and accurately, while its small form factor ensures easy installation into space-constrained production lines. In-Sight 7000 adopts a unique modular design and can provide more than 400 field configurations, making it an extremely flexible vision system.

In-Sight 7000 features an IP67-rated enclosure that is extremely rugged and offers Flexible Image Technology™. This comprehensive vision system offers Cognex's patent-pending LED ring light, which produces uniform, diffuse illumination across the entire image, eliminating the need for expensive external light sources. It offers a variety of light source colors, optical filters and polarizer options, allowing users to easily change them in the field to meet specific application needs. In addition, it offers a wide range of field-interchangeable C-mount and S-mount lenses as well as industrial-grade mechanical autofocus lens options, greatly increasing application flexibility and comprehensiveness.
Like all Cognex In-Sight vision systems, the In-Sight 7000 uses In-Sight Explorer™ software to set up and monitor machine vision inspection applications. The software includes the EasyBuilder® user interface for easy step-by-step application setup, and the In-Sight spreadsheet view for increased control. The system also offers a full suite of powerful In-Sight vision tools, including PatMax RedLine™ pattern matching technology, OCRMax™ optical character recognition technology and SurfaceFX™ surface feature extraction technology.
