Advanced fixed-mount ID readers DataMan 300 and DataMan 500

The DataMan 300 and 500 barcode reader series are our most advanced fixed-mount readers yet, delivering the highest possible read rates. Both readers are capable of reading challenging 1D and 2D barcodes, with enhanced 1DMax+ and 2DMax+ decoding algorithms. Coupled with Hotbars technology, these readers not only achieve higher read rates on damaged 1D barcodes, they are also faster. A variety of optical options are also available, including variable focus liquid lens technology for maximum depth of field.

DataMan 500 Series

The high-performance DataMan 500 fixed-mount barcode reader features patented vision chip technology, Cognex VSoC™ (Vision System on a Chip), which provides barcode reading performance unmatched by other current image or laser systems and is easy to use.

·Cognex VSoC provides ultra-fast automatic exposure and image acquisition speeds, reaching 1000 frames per second.

·Read results can be output at a speed of 90 per second, each result contains up to three barcodes, a total of 270 reads per second.

·Trigger-free reading reduces overall installation costs and placement time

·Field-replaceable lighting—choose from all-in-one LED lighting or high-power lighting components

DataMan 300 Series

DataMan 300 Series barcode readers are capable of handling the most difficult-to-read DPM (Direct Part Mark) codes as well as tricky 1D barcodes and 2D matrix codes used on high-speed production lines.

Controllable, field-replaceable lighting modules provide optimal illumination of components, ensuring maximum read rates of DPM codes

· Intelligent adjustment automatically adjusts the settings of the integrated lighting to find the optimal lighting settings for the component

·Two base models - DataMan 300 with standard 800x600 pixels and DataMan 302 with high resolution (1280x1024) that can read very small codes over a large field of view or small components
