New Cognex ID Reader DataMan 150, 260 and 360 Series

Good news, Cognex has launched the new DataMan 150, 260 and 360 series of fixed imaging ID readers . These new barcode readers offer outstanding performance, flexibility and ease of use, using new Cognex algorithms to achieve high read rates.

Advantages of the new code reader: 

1.1DMax combined with Hotbars®2 technology can read damaged or poorly printed one-dimensional barcodes at high speed;

2.2DMax combined with patent-pending PowerGrid technology can reliably read difficult 2D codes, including previously unreadable 2D codes without visible range;

3. On-site adjustable lighting and light path, suitable for changing factory environment and application requirements;

4. Automatic tuning and trigger button, no PC required to set up and use the code reader.

USB DataMan 150 Series and Ethernet 260 Series models can be mounted upright or at an angle to fit into tight spaces. This flexible design eliminates the need to redesign equipment or use complex optical paths to connect grating mirrors.

Enhancements to the DataMan 360 Series include a halo that provides 360-degree visual read indication and a Micro SD card for system-level backup and easy device recovery or replacement. DataMan 360 offers three times the memory capacity of the older DataMan 300, improved image buffering and increased image storage space.
