 The core of the machine vision system is image acquisition and processing. All information comes from images, and the quality of the image itself is extremely critical to the entire visual system. The light source is an important factor affecting the image level of the machine vision system, because it directly affects the quality of the input data and at least 30% of the application effect.
As one of the important components of the machine vision system, the machine vision light source's main functions are: to illuminate the target and increase the brightness; to form effects that are beneficial to image processing and highlight measurement features; to overcome ambient light interference and ensure image stability, etc. So the role of the light source is to obtain a contrasting image.

Machine vision telecentric parallel light source is a backlight lighting product specially designed for telecentric vision applications. Compared with ordinary backlights, telecentric parallel light sources can eliminate edge blurring caused by light source diffusion. The design adopts the concept of parallel light path, fully considers the imaging characteristics of parallel light, and is designed with the imaging characteristics of telecentric lenses. In addition, the machine vision telecentric parallel light source also uses optical components to directly guide light from the LED into the object, producing a high-contrast side image.
