As the "eyes" of machine vision, the important role of industrial lenses goes without saying. There are many categories of industrial lenses. Each type of lens has its own unique technical advantages and therefore has different industry applications. Next, let’s take a look at the different applications of various lenses from Chengdu Xinxiwang!

1. The manual aperture lens is a simple lens, suitable for relatively stable lighting conditions. The manual aperture is composed of several metal sheets. The luminous flux is adjusted by a ring on the outer diameter of the lens. Rotating this ring can make the aperture smaller or larger. In environments with large changes in lighting conditions or when it is not used to monitor a fixed target, an automatic iris lens should be used. For example, outdoors or in places where artificial lighting is frequently switched on and off, the aperture of the automatic iris lens is driven by a motor, and the motor is controlled by The video signal of the camera. Manual aperture lenses and automatic aperture lenses are divided into fixed focus (aperture) lenses, automatic aperture lenses and electric zoom lenses.

2. Fixed focus (aperture) lenses are generally matched with electronic shutter cameras and are suitable for indoor monitoring of a fixed target. Fixed focal length lenses are generally divided into long focal length lenses, medium focal length lenses and short focal length lenses. A medium focal length lens is a lens whose focal length is similar to the imaging size; a focal length smaller than the imaging size is called a short focal length lens. A short focal length lens is also called a wide-angle lens. The focal length of this lens is usually a lens below 28mm. A short focal length lens is mainly used in ambient lighting conditions. Poor, when the surveillance range is required to be wide, a lens with a focal length greater than the imaging size is called a telephoto lens. A telephoto lens is also called a telephoto lens. The focal length of this type of lens is generally above 150mm and is mainly used to monitor distant scenery.

3. The manual aperture lens can be matched with the electronic shutter camera and can be used under various lights.

4. The automatic iris lens (EF) can be matched with any CCD camera and can be used under various lights. It is especially used in places where the brightness of the monitored surface changes greatly and the range is large. In order to avoid causing halo and burning the target surface, automatic aperture lenses are generally equipped.

5. The electric zoom lens can also be matched with any CCD camera and can be used under various lights. The zoom lens uses a remote control device to perform light focusing, aperture opening, and change the focal length.
